A lot of writers would kill to have Pareene’s “talent.” Sure, some people are too preoccupied envying his “platform” to even notice that sort of thing but there is a word for those people and it is “hacks.”*

*Incidentally not a term of derision in the United Kingdom or its former colonies; can of worms, etc.
